If you just finished the free Readiness Check and are wondering what your results mean or what to do next, this article walks you through it.
Your results
As soon as you answer the 10th question, your results appear on screen. You will see:
- A readiness score out of 100, based on your answers.
- Your readiness level, a plain-language description of where you stand today.
Your top priorities, the areas where a few changes will make the biggest difference, are included in your emailed summary.
Your score reflects 10 self-reported questions. It is a starting point to help you prioritize, not an assessment, and it does not confirm or rule out compliance with any contract.
If your score is low
That is common, especially for small companies taking their first look at CMMC Level 1. The 15 Level 1 requirements are basic safeguards, and every one of them is fixable. Most companies close their gaps with practical steps like turning on multi-factor authentication, limiting administrator rights, and writing down a few simple rules.
Getting your emailed summary
Below your results, enter your name, business email, and company name, complete the quick verification, and select Email my summary. Your summary usually arrives within a few minutes; if you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder. Separately, you can check the box to receive occasional tips about CMMC Level 1 readiness. It's unchecked unless you choose it, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We don't store your individual answers, and we delete summary requests after 12 months unless you become a customer.

Start with the top areas from your results. Most can be addressed with practical steps, often with help from your IT provider if you have one.
- Use your emailed summary to see your priorities, and share it with your IT provider.
